Private projects require that, a Statement of Lien be filed within six 6 months after the last date services were performed for the project. Public projects require that, a Statement of Lien-Public Projects must file within 30 days from the last day of month services were last performed.

6. Is there any mandatory notice requirement in Kentucky?
Yes. A Notice of Intent to File Lien, on residential projects no later than 75 days from the last performance of services on single or double, owner occupied, family dwellings. On private projects no later than 75 day from last services performed for claims equal to or less than $1,000. All other claims in the amounts greater than $1,000, 120 days from the last services performed.
